Atlanta Concours d'Elegance
A Concours d'Elégance (from French meaning a 'competition of elegance', referring to the gathering of prestigious cars) dates back to 17th-century French aristocracy, who paraded horse-drawn carriages in the parks of Paris during Summer weekends and holidays. Over time, carriages became horseless and the gatherings became a competition among automobile owners to be judged on the appearance of their automobiles.
I will admit, I didn't know the history of the of the Concours before researching it, but I was well aware of Pebble Beach and Amelia. I knew them to be holy grail car shows where the elite and most rare were displayed. The information gainerd from my research strengthened my knowledge of the prestigiousness that would be drawn to this event. Here are a few sights that caught my eye.
